On December 8, 2022, BULEKO-2000 Ltd. finalized the implementation of contract BG16RFOP002-6.002-0331-C01 with the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 for the provision of a grant, for the project: “Recovery of SMEs through energy efficiency improvement.”

General objective of the project: To provide focused support to Bulgarian small and medium-sized enterprises for recovery from the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic by improving their energy efficiency.

The project proposal includes investments for the delivery and installation of 3 condensing boilers for gaseous fuels, flat solar collectors, and a hybrid ventilation system. The total amount of the investment is 62,426.64 BGN, of which BGN 31,213.32 is a grant from the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 (BGN 31,213.32 European and BGN 0.00 national co-financing) and BGN 31,213.32 is own co-financing.

With the implementation of the investment, the expected results of the support under the procedure were achieved – improving the energy efficiency of SMEs, which in turn will support the overcoming of the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing competitiveness, and lowering energy intensity both at the level of individual manufacturing enterprises and for the economy as a whole.
